Introductory Bio Questions
What is your age?
27 years young and loving every moment. Each year has been like a chapter in an adventure novel. I’ve grown so much since my early days in San Francisco, finding my rhythm in the pulsing heart of Vegas. It’s a journey filled with ups and downs, but at 27, I feel like I’m just hitting my stride.
Where are you originally from?
San Francisco, a city of fog and dreams, was my playground. Growing up there, I was immersed in a melting pot of cultures, ideas, and expressions. It’s where I first learned to appreciate diversity and the beauty of being different. The city’s vibrant streets and lively neighborhoods shaped my early years, instilling in me a sense of wonder and a thirst for something more, something that eventually led me to the sparkling lights of Las Vegas.
How long have you been working in Las Vegas?
I’ve been lighting up Vegas for 7 years now. It’s crazy how time flies when you’re living in a city that never sleeps.
What led you to this career?
I was drawn to this career for the freedom to perform and entertain on my terms. It’s an art form, an expression of my most daring self.
Describe yourself in three words.
Funny and loving – these two words capture the essence of who I am. I’m the girl with the infectious laugh, turning any room into a haven of joy. I believe in spreading love, be it with a kind word, a gentle touch, or just being there for someone. In the world of glitter and glam, I stay grounded by keeping my humor and my heart at the forefront.
What’s your stage name and how did you choose it?
I chose ‘Kim’ because it sounded like the quintessential all-American girl’s name. It’s ironic, a twist on expectations.
How did you get into stripping?
My entry into this profession was a twist of fate, guided by a friend I met back in the Bay Area. She was like a sister to me, always pushing me to explore my boundaries. One summer evening, over coffee and dreams, she suggested I try dancing. I laughed it off at first, but the seed was planted. My curiosity piqued, and soon I found myself stepping into a world that was as intimidating as it was mesmerizing. It was a leap into the unknown, but one that has shaped my life in ways I could never have imagined.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I love most is the performance. Each dance is a story, a moment where I can lose myself in the music and the movement.
Describe your perfect day off.
A perfect day off is a rare gem, a day when I’m not Kim the entertainer but just Kim. It’s a day spent with my family, maybe a lazy brunch with my mom, where we laugh and talk about everything and nothing. It’s playing with my nieces and nephews, their laughter a melody that soothes my soul. It’s the comfort of home, the familiar streets of my childhood neighborhood, and the warm embrace of those who knew me before the lights and the fame.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
When I’m not on stage, I’m a culinary explorer and a poet at heart. I love trying out new restaurants, tasting dishes from every corner of the world. Food is my way of traveling without moving, a journey of flavors and stories. Then there’s poetry – my secret garden. I write about love, life, dreams, and sometimes the shadows that lurk in the corners. My poems are windows to my soul, a place where I am most vulnerable and most real.
Favorite song to dance to?
I don’t have a favorite song to perform to; I vibe with the moment. Each beat brings out a different shade of me.
Favorite Las Vegas casino or landmark?
The Palms is my favorite casino. It’s got this unique mix of luxury and laid-back atmosphere that’s just magnetic.
Favorite late-night snack?
My go-to late-night snack is a fusion of flavors that speaks to my heritage and my love for bold tastes. Mangos with chamoy & Tajin – it’s a dance of sweet, spicy, and tangy on my tongue. And when I crave something indulgent, it’s hot Cheetos with nacho cheese. It’s comfort in a bite, a guilty pleasure that reminds me of late-night giggles and conversations with my closest friends.
Favorite book or author?
Choosing a favorite book or author is like picking a favorite star in the sky – impossible because there are too many that light up my world.
Favorite movie or TV show?
‘Love & Basketball’ – it’s about passion, love, and following your dreams. It speaks to me on so many levels.
What’s your life philosophy?
‘Be who you are, don’t change for anyone’ – this mantra has been my guiding star. In a world that often tries to mold you, staying true to oneself is a rebellion. I’ve learned that the most powerful thing you can be is yourself. Authenticity isn’t just about being real; it’s about embracing your flaws, your quirks, your passions. It’s about standing tall in your truth, even when the world doesn’t understand. This philosophy has opened doors, built bridges, and, most importantly, kept me at peace with who I am.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone considering a career in stripping?
If you’re considering this path, bring a positive attitude. It’s your shield and sword in a world that’s dazzling but tough.
What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?
Most people don’t know this, but I’m a great poet. My words are my secret diary, my unspoken thoughts.
What do you consider to be your biggest strength?
Confidence is my superpower. It’s not just in the way I move; it’s in every choice I make.
What are your goals for the future?
My dreams for the future are as bright as the Vegas skyline. Retiring by 35 is just the beginning. I envision a life where I can wake up to the sound of the ocean, not alarms. I want to own two more houses – one maybe by the beach, another in a quiet countryside. I dream of mornings spent in gardens and evenings watching sunsets, of a life where time is mine to savor. It’s not just about financial freedom; it’s about creating a sanctuary, a haven that’s a reflection of all I’ve achieved and all I’ve become.
